Incepta Pharmaceuticals Limited, a subsidiary of Impress Group, is the second largest pharmaceutical company in Bangladesh. Incepta has a large distribution network, coordinated from 19 different locations throughout the country.
Media Business
Impress Telefilm Limited is the largest media production house in Bangladesh. It produces films, telefilms, drama and drama serials, music videos, variety shows, magazine programmes, musical programmes, documentaries and TV commercials.
Other Areas of Business
Impress Group has business ventures in trading to meet the requirements of its subsidiaries. The group now provides a charter helicopter service under the brand name of Impress Aviation. Other areas of business include cargo-handling, logistics operation, information technology, construction and fisheries.
1978
Impress Group starts business as an advertising firm called Impress Ltd.
1983
The group gains recognition as an industrial enterprise. Success in the ready-made garment sector lays the groundwork for the group’s diversification and expansion in other areas.
1996
Impress Group enters the electronic media business by forming Impress Telefilm Limited, which starts commercial operations in February.
1999
Incepta Pharmaceuticals Limited is established. It produces the first product by the end of the year. Sales begin formally in January 2000.

Channel i goes on air on the first day of October.
2008
Impress Group establishes Ananda Alo Ltd. The company sets a milestone in the history of Bangla periodicals by publishing the fortnightly cine and entertainment magazine titled “Ananda Alo”.
2009
Impress Group acquires a majority stake in Newtex Ltd, taking over Karnaphuli Fashion Ltd (KFL), Karnaphuli Knitting and Dyeing Ltd (KKDL) and Newtex Design Ltd (NDL). The two groups rename the venture Impress-Newtex Composite Textiles Ltd (INCTL).
2010
In recognition of its compliance with good manufacturing practices, Incepta receives a GMP certificate. Incepta maintains its position as the second largest pharmaceutical company in Bangladesh.
2011
Incepta Pharmaceuticals introduces vaccines for humans to the market, becoming the first Bangladeshi company to manufacture vaccines.

Incepta Vaccine Ltd was launched as the first human vaccine manufacturing company in Bangladesh with the prime objective of providing vaccines at an affordable cost.
2012
Incepta launches 52 products, seven of which hit the Bangladeshi market for the first time.

INCTL receives an award as the supplier showing the most potential from Cotton On Group on October 22.

Impress Aviation Limited officially launches its operations.

ICL a Wealth Management Company, focusing in Primary and Secondary Investment Management and also providing advisory services.

Incepta Vaccine Ltd, a subsidiary of Incepta Pharmaceuticals, inaugurates a bulk vaccine manufacturing facility at Savar on July 28, an important step towards reducing import dependency.

Next Spaces Limited has signed the first subcontract for the soil stabilization work at Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant Project.
